The Five Loopers of Hendon : Noel, Hall, ,Goodden, Carr and Strange
On March 25th, 1914, Reginald Carr ( Major Carr, R.F.C.) looped on the Grahame-White biplane “Lizzie,” and his example was promptly followed by Louis Noel ( Lieutenant in the French Aviation Service), the late Frank Goodden (late Major, R.F.C.), L. A. Strange, while J. Laurence Hall looped on his own machine.
